I noticed that my songs take about ten months for me to feel ready to sit down and record and share them online. I don't know if this is a long time or a short time to you, but that's the amount of time it takes. There this whole "no going back now" feeling associated with my recording process. It all seems so final. Still, I play new songs live well before the ten-month mark and feel no qualms about changing things up a little when I do.

Anyway, with my current system there shouldn't ever be too long of a wait between new songs, unless I just stop writing for the next ten months.  And I won't do that right now because... well, this is February Album Writing Month (FAWM)!

I wrote this song, "Good to Know" during last year's FAWM. I finally recorded and started to play it toward the end of last year. You can hear the entire song on my virb page. Check it out.
